Misao Okawa, The World's Oldest Person

Misao Okawa of Japan is the oldest person in the world. She turned 117 this Thursday in japan. She is a mother of three, grand mother of four and great grand mother of six children.
She is the oldest person of Japan, and fifth oldest verified person in history.
After the death of a 116 years old Japanese man, Jiroemon Kimura on 12 june 2013, Misao Okawa became the World's oldest person.

Okawa is one of the few people who were born in 19th century and lived to the 21st century and she is the last living person of Japan who were born in 1800s. She is still alive and “looking in a good shape“, according to Osaka nursing home.
